The following are 3 important acupressure points to get rid of depression. Try and be happy again. You do not have to use all of these points every time. Using just one or two of them whenever you have a free hand can be effective.
Feng-Ci Point: Fresh with Energy
Feng-Ci points are found in the hollows between the two large neck muscles, just below the base of the skull. You may feel a bit pain from ear to both sides of the head when press Feng-Ci points firmly. “Feng” means the wind, “Ci” means the container, “Feng-Ci” points are important place to contain the positive energy according to the Traditional Chinese Medicine. Press the point will help relieve depression, neck tension, headache and irritability.
Sit down comfortably with your spine straight and feet flat about shoulder-width apart one another.
Relax your muscles while breathing in and out in slow, deep breaths.
Place your thumbs on the Feng-Ci points; press firmly for up to 5 minutes.
Repeat this exercise for 2-3 times every day if necessary.
